it was good to get out and finally compete again today. the hurdles were certainly an experience as i had a great start, but hit hurdle 3 pretty hard, then got tangled up with the guy beside me before hitting 2 more hurdles. it was not a pretty race at all and ended up running very very slow (15.66). the discus proved to be a more positive experience as i'm getting more consistent. i threw 44.77m (146' 10) with 3 other throws over 44m. while i wanted to perform well today, i also took it with a grain of salt given the fact that i was off the track for 17 days.
now i feel like we can get back to work......
