It seems like only yesterday we were counting down the months to the trials and now we find them a mere 7 days away! We will be arriving in Eugene on Thursday night and the decathlon begins on Sunday morning at 10am PT.
I want to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you who have been such a vital part of my life on and off the track over the past 4.5 years. There has rarely been a week go by when I haven't received an email or message through my website of encouragement from someone.....everyone from my middle school gym teacher and former competitors from high school and college, to someone else named Chris Boyles who "googled" himself and just wanted to say hi and good luck. I wish I had the time to send a personal email to all of you (but it would take awhile to send 500+ emails ;) ). It has been a truly humbling experience to see the selflessness and generosity of so many people! Know that, while a million "thank you's" still seems inefficient to me, I will be giving everything I can and leaving it on the track next week. I know I will feel the presence of you all from afar.
I have included the decathlon time schedule and tv schedule below. Please note that the competition schedule listed is PACIFIC TIME and the TV schedule is EASTERN TIME!!
