Update

Just wanted to give a brief update on the visa situation. Not much has changed with regards to obtaining my visa. There has been, however, a lot of media attention given to Joey Cheek and the other 3 of us who had our visa revoked. It is our hope that this media has drawn attention and created even more awareness to the genocide continuing to take place in Darfur, Sudan.
I was supposed to leave tomorrow morning for Beijing with Doc Draeger. I'm in the process of appealing to Northwest Airlines in hopes of getting a refund for my airline ticket.
For more information, please visit www.teamdarfur.org

Now I'll be focusing on fixing my ankle.

Thanks for your continuous support!

God Bless,
Chris

Oh.... you have no idea. :) Not only did yours and the other's visa issue draw attention to the current genocide in Sudan and China's interest in it, there is another situation.

China was not at all happy with the United States choice in flag bearer at the opening ceremony (Lomong). Dissfunktional (at wordpress dot com) caught the bit on Taiwan news and it's taken off. The United States hadn't been reporting it. The story is running on the very front page of Propeller at the moment, with a huge article. Enjoy!
